Rain Trust

Rain is a voluntary organisation that provides care and education to those living with, affected by and at risk from HIV.

The London-wide project has a two-fold purpose:

To raise awareness about the reality of living with HIV infection today. This includes clear and up-to-date information about the basics of HIV transmission and psychological and social aspects of living with the virus. Events can be tailored to the needs of a wide variety of groups according to age and ethnic or religious background.

To recruit volunteers to join RAIN in supporting the increasing numbers of people living in the community with HIV/AIDS among BME communities in London. The Rain approach is designed to get volunteers working together in teams to share the care reducing the pressures involved and providing a peer-support group.
