I like the diversity of the groups and
types of people that attend the groups Rain
organise as you can always learn something
new about them and yourself.

Rain Trust – supporting those living with HIV

Rain Trust is a voluntary organisation that provides services and education to individuals living primarily in London. It offers assistance and support to those suffering long-term conditions, including those living with, affected by and at risk from HIV.

Rain Trust seeks to raise awareness of the realities of living with HIV. We provide the latest information about the basics of HIV transmission as well as the social and psychological aspects of living with the virus.

We strive to continually evolve. In recent years, as society has gained a better understanding of the virus and it’s possible treatments, we have developed further services specifically tailored to the needs of a wide variety of groups. They are developed according to age, ethnicity and religious backgrounds.

It has become more apparent that HIV is only one of a wide variety of long-term conditions, which Rain Trust can assist individuals with as they work towards living and gaining a fulfilled life.

Our approach is designed to get volunteers working together to share experiences and care responsibilities, reducing the pressures involved in providing a peer-support network.
