Rain Trust Activities

Rain organizes a variety of events to encourage greater confidence and awareness in speaking about HIV and related sexual health issues.

Rain recognizes the key role played by faith communities in shaping attitudes and providing advice and support. Through our educational work we aim to challenge the stigma that remains around HIV infection and promote positive attitudes to sexual health that remain sensitive to a faith background.

We train on basic HIV awareness, prejudice, discrimination and confidentiality. Faith plays a big role in the lives of most HIV positive black African people. Our presentations enable church communities to understand the issues that are of concern to this client group.
